Lucia Dohr/Maximilian K.Kasseh,Jr

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Founder of the African Immigrants Services says the deadline for Africans deportation from the US will expire on March 31 this year.

Mr. Abdulla Kiatamba said:” President Trump has been consulting with relevant agencies to begin twelve months Deferred enforced Departure Policy, the (DED) come down period.”

Mr. Kiatamba said:” Deportation of Liberians will create social problems for Liberia, considering that the country is at a recovery stage.”

He stressed that it is very expensive for immigrants to regularize their status in America because most of them do not have white collar jobs.

At the same time, Senator John Hoffman of the United States says it will be detrimental to over three-thousand people, including children, if the decision is not re-visited.

Meanwhile, Minnesota State Senators have signed a resolution calling on President Donald Trump to extend the deferred enforced Departure Policy.
