Liberia elected to Chair African Management Dev. Network

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberia has been elected as Head of the African Management Development Institute Network (AMDIN), with the Director General of the Liberia Institute of Public Administration, Alexander Yonly, serving as Chairman.

Following the election and as incoming AMDIN Chair, Yonly stressed the need to promote good governance and gender equity through research and capacity development in Africa.

According to Yonly he wants the realignment of Management Development Institute programs with research components to yield excellent out comes in service delivery.

Alexander Yonly, said: “We have institutional plans to open sub-offices in the 15 counties, beginning with Grand Bassa and Bong”.

The African Management Development Institute’s Network AMDIN was launched in 2007 as a non-profit organization with support of the African Union Commission and the NEPAD Secretariat.
