Court orders three detained Central Bank officials release

MONROVIA, LIBERIA –Criminal Court C at the Temple of Justice has ordered the release of three Central Bank of Liberia (CBL) official detained at the Monrovia Central Prison on allegations of Economic Sabotage, Criminal Facilitation and Criminal Conspiracy.

Mr. Dorbor Hargbe, Joseph Dennis and Richard Walker, are the remaining three, they were released after filling a valid criminal appearance bond, through Adico Insurance Company.

Each of the detainees filed surety bond valued at US$60,000. They were asked to provide proper documents including passports, and barred from leaving Montserrado County as well as report to the court twice a month.

Former CBL Governor, Milton Weeks last week, filed a valid property bond valued at US$ 900,319.00 to secure his release.

The five present and past CBL officials, Milton Weeks, Charles Sirleaf, Richard Walker, Joseph Dennis and Dorbgor Hargba were indicted by the Government of Liberia, for printing unauthorized billions of Liberian Dollars Bank notes.
