Delegation of ECOWAS Court of Justice visits Liberia

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – A high power delegation of the ECOWAS Community Court of Justice is expected to meet with Heads of the Executive, Legislature and Judiciary Monday in Monrovia, the Capitol of Liberia.

According to a release issued Sunday March 17, 2019, the ECOWAS delegation will hold discussions with the Executive Branch of Government on critical national issues, especially on the Judiciary.

The release is quoted as saying; the ECOWAS Judicial officials will also meet with House Speaker, Bhofal Chambers, to discuss issues of mutual interest for ECOWAS member states.

While in the country, the ECOWAS delegation will also meet with Chief Justice, Francis Korkpor as part of its mission to Liberia.

The ECOWAS delegation from the Community’s Court of Justice is in the Country to hold a 20-day Judicial Outreach for judicial officials, lawyers and law students.
