By Jonathan Grigsby

(mylbsonline/Liberia)-A governing Unity Party (UP) Youth Wing official is calling for Montserrado County Representative, Edward Forh’s resignation.

According to the UP Bong County Chapter’s Youth Chairman, Curtis Dorley, Representative Forh’s admittance that the controversial tape-recorded voice, “You eat, I eat”, warrants his immediate resignation.

Mr. Dorley made the call Thursday 7th March, 2013 when he spoke to mylbsonline in Gbarnga, the provincial capital of Bong County.

The controversial tape recording was recently released to the local press allegedly by the then Montserrado County Superintendent, Grace Kpan.

Mr. Dorley said: “The Montserrado County Lawmaker’s admittance to the tape recording reveals that he has committed a serious corruption act and that he must not go with impunity.

He said: “If Representative Forh fails to resign, his colleagues at the Lower House should expel him, because his action has brought the August Body to public mockery.

Meanwhile, Mr. Dorley is urging members of the House of Representatives not to compromise Representative Forh’s action.

The Bong County UP Youth Wing Chairman said: “The Representative’s action threatens the integrity of not only the National Legislature, but also the Liberian Government in its zero-tolerant fight against corruption in the country.
