Progress made on 6.5 kilometer Pipeline/Johnsonville Road

JOHNSONVILL, MONROVIA - Final Works on the 6.5 kilometer Pipeline to Johnsonville Road have begun with contractor in - charge of the road, laying asphalt materials.

The pavement of the stretch of road, being financed by the Government of Liberia, links two populated areas in Montserrado County. The development is part of government’s ongoing road project taking place around the country.

Public Work Works Minister, Mobutu Nyenpan, addressing Journalists Monday, April 15, 2019 said: “Work is in fulfillment of President Weah’s commitment to lift Liberians out of poverty”.

Minister Nyenpan lauded the people of Pipeline and Johnsonville for the cooperation and urged them to do more for the completion of the project in the next two months.

At the same time, community residents and motorcyclists are appreciating the government and President Weah for his commitment to building the roads across the country.
