VP Taylor wants Liberian entrepreneurs attract investment

MONROVIA, LIBERIA - Vice President, Jewel Howard Taylor is calling on Liberian entrepreneurs to attract the much needed funding and investment to Liberia.

VP Taylor also called on entrepreneurs to focus their investment in key sectors, including agriculture and mining.  She Said: “Liberians should make their country a better place in subscribing to the dream of President George Weah and the CDC-led Government”.

The Vice President made the remarks Tuesday,  April 16, 2019 when she proxy for President Weah at the groundbreaking of a Modular Refinery to be constructed by a Liberian  company, Conex Petroleum Group in  collaboration with its local and international partners.

The Conex Petroleum Group CEO, Cherif Abdallah, said: “The oil processing facility, when completed, will add value to the Liberia’s economy to ensure the country’s strategic reserve and savings”.

Mr. Abdallah also said the facility will also create additional revenue through royalties to LPRC, taxes to government and ensure sufficiency of petroleum products on the Liberian market and job creation

The company is expected to construct it facility on the Bushrod Island in two years.
