Dialogues and consultation, hallmark of my administration - Prez. Weah

MONROVIA, LIBERIA - President George Weah says regular dialogues and consultations with Liberians will be the hallmark of his administration, irrespective of political and ethnic affiliations.

President Weah said: “It is incumbent upon all Liberians to ensure the peace, harmony and stability of Liberia”.

According to an Executive Mansion release, the Liberian leaders made the statement Wednesday, May 1, 2019 when former Vice President, Amb. Joseph Nyumah Boakai, met with him on a courtesy invitation at the Foreign Affairs Ministry.

The two statesmen discussed a wide-range of national issues relating to the maintenance of peace and stability, including the prevailing economic situation the country is faced with.

President Wea also assured Amb. Boakai, the efforts his administration is making to attract direct foreign investments in protecting the tenets of democracy.  “Government is making progress to transform the lives of Liberians”, President Weah assured updated Amb. Boakai.

For his part, the Former Vice President said: “we assured you of our unwavering tolerance and open leadership ability”.  Amb. Boakai also assured President Weah of his willingness to contribute to the nation building process in whatever way possible.
