President Weah discuss with the Senate

MONROVIA, LIBERIA - President George Weah about now is holding a close-door meeting with the Liberian Senate at the Capitol Building, is in continuation of his consultative meetings with key national stakeholders.

According to ELBC Executive Mansion Reporter, the Liberian Leader’s visit is in response to an official invitation extended him by the Leadership of the Liberian Senate.

The meeting comes at the time political tension is gradually intensifying ahead of the much publicized June 7 planned protestors by a group of Liberians under the banner, the Council of Patriots.

Recently, President Weah met with former President, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and former Vice President, Joseph Boakai, and discussed critical national issues pertaining to the forward match of the country.

Meanwhile, President Weah is expected to meet with members of the Business Community and the Liberia Council of Churches this Thursday and Friday, respectively.

The initiative is in fulfillment of President Weah’s quest to ensuring regular consultations and dialogues to address problems confronting the country.
