TODEE, MONTSERRADO COUNTY, LIBERIA-Some aggrieved workers of the Morris American Robber Company, MARCO, in Todee District, have setup road blocks on the main road leading to the plantation.

According to a May 23,2019, report from ELBC upper Margibi County Correspondent, the aggrieved workers are demanding 40 months’ salary arrears and other benefits owe them by the Company.

The aggrieved workers who were later cleared off the main road this morning by the police are now preventing cars and motor bikes from entering the plantation.

Our correspondent said the school operated by the Company has been shut down since November last year, leaving the children of the over one thousand employees out of school.

According to our Correspondent, their action is intended to claim government’s attention to their plight
