MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Manneh Weah has challenged Liberia’s foreign missions to foster effective diplomacy in the interest of the country.

President Weah said::” The promotion of the Country’s policies is critical to improving its image to the outside world.”

The Liberian Leader made the statement Tuesday, May 28, 2019, when he commissioned Liberia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Senegal, Maryann Fossang, at the Foreign Ministry.

The President encouraged Ambassador Fossang to work diligently for the common good of the Country.

President Weah expressed the hope that Ambassador Fossang will justify the confidence reposed in her in the achievement of Liberia’s diplomatic mission in that West African State.

In remarks, Ambassador Fossang thanked President Weah for her preferment and promised to promote the Country’s image through effective diplomacy.
