Prez. Weah wants officials serve with sense of patriotism, commitment

MONROVIA, LIBERIA - President George Weah is urging government officials to serve with sense of patriotism and commitment to duty.

The Liberian President wants appointed government officials to see integrity and transparency as a hallmark and guiding principle in the discharge of their duties. “Doing so is a justification of the confidence reposed in you to serve your Country”.

President Weah made the comments Friday, August 9, 2019 when he commissioned five officials of government at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Those commissioned includes Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Henry Fahnbulleh, Madame Deweh Gray, Deputy Minister for Legal Affairs and MawineGuata Diggs, and Deputy Minister for Administration.

Others officials are Abraham Koboi Korvah, Deputy Minister for International Cooperation and Economic Integration, Blamoh Nelson, Ambassador to Japan, Chief of Protocol Jervis Witherspoon and Executive Mansion Chief of Protocol, Nora Finda Bundoo.

Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister, Henry Fahnbulleh, spoke on behalf of the commissioned officials and lauded President Weah for their preferment and promised to be loyal and faithful to their respective functions.
