The cost of the unit is estimated at US$800,000 and will serve as new homes for the populated community of Popo Beach on Bushrod Island in Monrovia. Recently several private homes in the community were gutted by fire, thus attracting President Weah’s attention for government to restore the hope of hundreds of  residents that were rendered homeless in the area.
