Anti-Corruption Com.releases list of Gov. Officials failing to declare assets

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission has released a list of seventy-three Government Officials for failing to declare their assets and liabilities.

Prominent among them are Central Bank Governor, Nathaniel Patry, University of Liberia President, Ophelia Weeks, and Jordan Sulunteh, Director General of the Cabinet.

The seventy-three Government Officials, according to a release from the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC), failed to meet the August 9, 2019 scheduled date.

According to the release issued August 13, 2019, a total of one-hundred-eleven Public Officials have declared their assets and liabilities.

The release quotes the LACC as calling on members of the Judiciary and Legislature to declare to declare their assets and submit copies of their declarations to the Commission as required by the Code of Conduct.
