(mylbsonline/Liberia)-The Constitution Review Commission (CRC) has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that the views of Liberians from all sectors of society are heard.

According to the Commission’s Chairperson, Gloria Scott, Efforts are underway to place suggestion boxes in strategic areas across the country.

Cllr. Scott said: “The placing of suggestion boxes throughout Liberia will enable citizens fully participate in the ongoing constitution review process.”

“The suggestion box method will complement the ongoing civic education and interactive forum on the 1986 Constitution.”

The CRC Chairperson made the statements in an interview with mylbsonline Monday April 15, 2013 in Monrovia.

“A technical delegation from the United Nations Political Affairs Office is in the Country to work along with the Commission,” the former Maryland County Senator also said.

“The group will aid the Commission in strategizing ways in establishing consensus on the critical concerns the citizens raised and integrating such concerns into the final recommendations,” she added.

“The constitution review process is a tool for uniting Liberians and therefore necessarily needs the active participation of all.
