Prez. Weah to host many side-line meetings in Japan

MONROVIA, LIBERIA - President George Weah is expected to hold talks with authorities of Shonan Kamakura General Hospital in Japan in an attempt to open a Dialysis Treatment Center in Liberia.

Dialysis is a machine that filters, purifies and helps to control blood pressure during kidney failure. According to the Presidential Press Secretary, Solo Kelgbeh, the meeting will be attended by Health Minister Dr. Wilhelmina Jallah and Japanese Health Authorities.

Mr. Kelgbeh said: “President Weah is seeking to galvanize more support for the health sector through a partnership agreement with the Government of Japan with another meeting being scheduled between President Weah and delegation with the Dia-nay-bon Construction Company for possible investment in Liberia, and will be chaired by Utah Ayoubah Japan Special Envoy for African Affairs”.

The Presidential Press Secretar, spoke with ELBC from Japan, Monday, August 26, 2019. President Weah is in Japan to attend the 7thedition of the Tokyo International Conference on African Development.
