Prrez. attends ECOWAS Extra-ordinary Summit in Burkina Faso

MONROVIA, LIBERIA - President George Weah is in Burkina Faso to attend ECOWAS Extra-ordinary Summit of the Authority of Heads of State and Government.
While in Burkina Faso, President Weah will on Saturday join other West African leaders for the one-day Summit which focuses on Terrorism.
It can be recalled on February 28, 2013, ECOWAS member States including Liberia adopted a strategy to combat terrorism in the sub-region.
According to our Executive Mansion reporter, President Weah and his West African counterparts are expected to reaffirm their commitment to the fight against terrorism and other insurgencies.
Meanwhile, the Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Nathaniel McGill, in consultation with Vice President Jewel Howard-Taylor, will act as chair of the Cabinet while the President is away.
