About 96, 250 ballot papers in for Cape Mount’s By - Election

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – About 96, 250 ballot papers have being brought in from Ghana by the National Elections Commission (NEC), to be used in the October 3, 2019 scheduled Grand Cape Mount County’s Senatorial By –Election.

The ballots materials including tactile ballots for the visually impaired and other were received by the NEC and taken to a secured location under the protection of the Liberia National Police.

The Grand Cape Mount County  Senatorial By - Election  comes about as a result of the death of Senator, Edward Dogoseh. The NEC has already qualified seven candidates for the race to replace the fallen Senator.
