Voting to take place in Cape Mount County tomorrow…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Voting in the Grand Cape Mount County Senatorial By – Election is slated to take place Saturday, October 5, 2019, in that county.

The Senatorial By – Election is to fill the vacancy following the death of Senator Edward Dagoseh.

According to the National Elections Commission Communications (NEC) Director, Henry Flomo, all necessary preparation for the conduct of the Grand Cape Mount County Senatorial By – Election have been concluded.

Mr. Flomo told ELBC Friday, October 4, 2019, that campaigning in by – Election ended peacefully and urged voters to go about casting their ballots in like manner.

There are seven candidates conducting the Senatorial Seat for Grand Cape Mount County. They include two females and one independent: Mathew Darblo of the Vision for Liberia Transformation (VOLT), Kula Fofana of the Coalition for Liberia’s Progress (CLP), Daoda Metzger, an independent candidate, Simeon Taylor of the Alternative National Congress (ANC), Dabah Varplah of the Unity Party (UP), Victor Watson of the People’s Unification Party (PUP), and Sando Wayne of the Untied People’s Party (UPP).
