Liberia Revenue Authority to launch mobile applications

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberian Revenue Authority (LRA) has announced the launch of two mobile applications to enhance efficiency and combat fraud at the entity.

Mobile application is software designed to run on smartphones and other mobile devices.

One of the apps is to help taxpayers identify impersonators and make reports while the other is to assist, especially real estate taxpayers pay their taxes.
The two mobile applications are expected to be launched next Monday, October 21, 2019.

The Commissioner General of the LRA, Thomas Doe-Nah, said: “The move is part of the institution’s plan of investing in the needed infrastructure for improved revenue generation.”
