Monrovia Fire: rescue workers searching for survivals

(mylbsonline/Liberia)-Rescue workers at the Fouani complex fire disaster in Monrovia are continuing their search for survivals.

Vice President, Joseph Boakai, And Justice Minister, Christiana Tarr, Thursday April 25, 2013 toured the area to assess the level of damage to the complex.

An employee of Fouani Brothers, however, told mylbsonline that he saw seven bodies, one of which was identified as a staff of the complex, while the identities of the others are still unknown.

Peter George, a Delivery Clerk at the business center alleged that most of the dead and others believed to be under the debris, entered with criminal motives.

Mr. George said: “When the fire started he saw many people, most of whom were male youth, rushing into the building to loot.
