MONROVIA, LIBERIA - The Press Union of Liberia (PUL) Elections Committee has declared campaign activities opened for the forth coming November 9 2019 Elections.

The PUL Elections Committee Chairman, Jarlawah Tonpo, said: “Nine candidates have been qualified to contest the positions of President, Vice President, Secretary General and Assistant Secretary General”.

Chairman Tonpo, made the declaration at a press conference held Monday, October 28, 2019 in Monrovia.

Mr. Tonpo named incumbent President Charles Coffey and Vice President Octavin Williams as contenders for the Presidency, while incumbent Weemon Cole –Boyce for the Vice Presidency.

According to Mr. Tonpo, the Secretary General post will be contested by Nathaniel Daygbor and Musu Kenneh, two immediate past Presidents of the Legislative Press Pool.

Others named were Akoi Baysah, Jutonu Kollie and Moses Garzeawu and contesting for the Assistant Secretary General Position.
