Press Union of Liberia holds Congress

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Several panelists from the Media Community, along with non- media practitioners, are providing their professional expertise at the ongoing Congress of the Press Union of Liberia (PUL) on the Main Campus of the University of Liberia.

The panelists include, Commerce Minister, Wilson Tarpeh, LBS Director General, Ledgerhood Rennie, former PUL President, Peter Quaqua, INTERNEWS Chief of Party, Jan MacArthur and Liberia Bar Association Secretary General, Cllr.  Bobby Livingston.

Professor Tarpeh and LBS Director General, Ledgerhood Rennie, are providing their expertise on strategies aimed at improving the economy of the Media.

At the same time, former PUL President, Peter Quaqua, INTERNEWS Chief of Party, Jan MacArthur and Liberia Bar Association Secretary General, Cllr.  Bobby Livingston, are expected to speak on regulations for the Media industry.

The Organizing Committee Chairman of the Press Union of Liberia Congress, Attorney Alphonso Zeon, said the forum is part of activities of the Union’s November 9 elections.
