Pres. Weah appoints Acting Director Gen

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has appointed Mr. Daddy Gibson as Acting Director General of the National Bureau of Concessions.

According to an Executive Mansion release issued Monday, November 25, 2019, Mr. Gibson will act as Acting Director General until the appointment of a Director General Proper.

Prior to his appointment, Mr. Gibson served as Deputy Director for Administration of the NBC.

Meanwhile, President Weah has accepted the resignation of Mr. Gregory Coleman as Head of the NBC, and resigned after almost two years of service at the entity.

Over forty Liberian Musicians under the Liberian Musician Union are commending the Government of Liberia through President George Weah for sponsoring them at the just ended Musical Festival in Morocco.

The Liberian artists, including Daniel George alias Deng, Jonathan Koffa alias Takun and others, recently took part in the just ended Visa for Music Festival in Rabat, Morocco.

Speaking in an interview with ELBC upon their arrival from Rabat, Morocco, the President of the Musicians Union, Sammy Boygar, said it is important that the Government create opportunities for musicians to explore on the National and International Scene.

He said when they are given the opportunities to perform on international stages, it will help them improve their musical career and also network with other international artists.

Mr. Boygar also highlighted the warm reception accorded them by the organizers of the program.
