(mylbsonline/Liberian)-All existing streets in Kakata, Margibi County have been reopened under a project budgeted at US$1.47.

Kakata is the provincial capital of Margibi Country, lying between Montserrado County and Bong County in Central Liberia.

Margibi County Superintendent, John Buway, said: “The re-opening exercise completes the first phase of the road project, pending the spreading of literates and coverts installation.”

Superintendent Buway told mylbsonline over the weekend that coverts are being installed, but the process might delay, due to the rain.

Few months ago, the Margibi County local authority, in collaboration with the county Legislative Caucus, launched the reopening of all streets in Kakata City.

The on-going Kakata street rehabilitation is being undertaken by a Liberian-own MDMC Construction Company.
