(’s Senate President Pro-Tempore, Gbezongar Findley, says genuine reconciliation cannot be achieved when majority of Liberians are jobless, hungry and lack money to pay their children’s tuition.

President Pro-Tempore Findley said: “It is therefore the responsibility of all government officials to work toward ensuring the provision of the basic social services and jobs for the Liberian people, especially the youths.”

He encouraged all Liberians to work together to ensure that the painful past are healed, if the reconciliation process must be successful.

Also speaking at the occasion, Chief Justice, Francis Korkpor, noted: “The Judiciary has an important role in the reconciliation process.”

“Our role is manifested in the application of justice to all without fear or favor,” Chief Justice Korkpor added.

He then assured the Liberian people that everything will be done to ensure that mob justice does not prevail in the country.
