(mylbsonline.com/Liberia)-United States Ambassador, Deborah Malac, says the American people will continue supporting initiatives that will improve the livelihood of the Liberian children.

Ambassador Malac said: “The dedication of a hand-pump is one of the American people’s good-will gestures to the students of the Beneniah Elementary School in Grand Bassa County.

“The funds for the hand-pump were provided by students of the Kamiak High School in Mukilteo, Washington State in the United States (US).

The hand-pump, constructed at the cost of US$2,500.00, was in honor of the 26 victims of the December, 2012 shooting incident at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, the US.

Ambassador Malac cautioned the Beneniah Elementary School’s administration to use the hand-pump wisely to provide the children with life-saving clean water.
