(mylbsonline.com/Liberia)-The Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) has expelled Montserrado County, District 16 Representative, Edward Forh, from the party.

CDC National Secretary General, Nathaniel Mcgill, said: “The decision by the party’s National Executive Committee to expel Representative Forh is in line with count 1 of a 6-count recommendation submitted to CDC by a special investigating team set up by the party.”

“The corruption allegation against Representative Forh is inimical to his status and it threatens to tarnish, what the party calls, moral essence of the entity that he represents at the National Legislature,” the CDC National Secretary General also said.

Representative Forh has, however, rejected claims that he received bribe from any individual, including the then Montserrado County Superintendent, Grace Kpan.

Meanwhile, the Montserrado County District 16 lawmaker has warned CDC not to use him to gain prominence in the “Liberian people’s eye.”

Recently, CDC set up the investigating team to probe Representative Forh on allegation of soliciting bribe from Madam Kpan.
