Prez. Johnson-Sirleaf gives EPS high honors

(mylbsonline.com/Liberia)-President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf has paid tribute to the Executive Protection Service (EPS) for performing its duty with high degree of professionalism.

President Johnson-Sirleaf said: “I am happy over the level of transformation in the EPS.”

“The EPS is today regarded as an organization that respects the rule of law and the rights of people,” she said.

The Liberian Leader further noted: “The EPS is following government’s policy, built around respecting the rights and dignity of people.”

The Liberian President spoke Monday, August 5, 2013 at the graduation ceremony of the Counter Assault Team (CAT) at the EPS.

She admonished officers of the EPS to continue striving for hard work and professionalism as they carry on their official duties.

In his contribution, the National Security Advisor, Boima Fahnbulleh, praised the Nigerian Government for its continued support to the security sector of Liberia.

Dr. Fahnbulleh said: “Liberia will continue making use of the experiences of fellow African countries, including Nigeria, in combating terrorism.”
