( House of Representatives has temporarily suspended debate on the much-delayed National Youth Policy Bill.

It comes as a result of a protest letter from the Mano River Youth Parliament requesting the Legislature not to honor the Bill until it is included in the document.

The organization is accusing the Federation of Liberian Youth (FLY) of excluding youth groups from the National Youth Policy Bill.

However, FLY President, Mohammed Nasser, rubbished the allegation declaring the MRU-Youth Parliament as an illegal group.

Meanwhile, the House Committee on Youth and Sports is expected to meet with the MRU-Youth Parliament Thursday, August 8, 2013 to investigate its concerns.

The National Youth Policy Bill is now before the House Committee on Youth and Sports for submission to the Plenary for action.
