Govt extols Kuwaiti Ambassador

(mylbsonline.com/Liberia)-The Liberian Government has commended the outgoing Kingdom of Kuwait Ambassador, Dr. Hamad Burahmad, for helping to strengthen Liberia-Kuwait relations.

In her commendation on behalf government, President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf praised the excellent relations between the two countries and prayed that Mr. Burahmad’s successor will continue the job from where he stopped.

According to an Executive Mansion release, the Liberian Leader spoke Tuesday, August 13, 2013 when the Kuwaiti Ambassador paid her a farewell courtesy visit at her Foreign Ministry office in Monrovia.

Speaking earlier, Ambassador Burahmad conveyed compliments from the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Ahmad Al-jabar Al-Sabah’s to President Johnson-Sirleaf, the government and people of Liberia.

He pledged his successor’s willingness to continue the promotion of good relations between Liberia and the Kingdom of Kuwait, and lauded the Liberian President for her support during his tour of duty.

Dr. Burahmad used the occasion to renew the invitation of Kuwait’s Emir for President Johnson-Sirleaf to participate in the upcoming 3rd Arab-African Summit, expected to take place November, 2013 in Kuwait.
