Prez. Sirleaf commissions Cabinet Ministers, others

( Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf has commissioned several officials of government, including cabinet ministers, deputy ministers and ambassadors.

The commissioning ceremony took place Friday, September 6, 2013 at the Foreign Ministry in Monrovia.

Performing the ceremony, President Johnson-Sirleaf challenged the commissioned officials to work harder to restore the nation’s credibility.

She called on them to develop the integrity that will enable them do the right things while doing the “people’s work.”

The Liberian Leader said: “The time for picnic and pageantry is over, and now is the time to work for the Liberian people.”

The President then pledged her continued commitment to upholding all the freedoms that Liberians now enjoy.

Those commissioned include Internal Affairs Minister, Morris Dukuly, Public Works Minister, Dr. Antoinette Weeks, Youth and Sports Minister, Eugene Nagbe, Labor Minister, Cllr. Juah Lawson, the Director General of the Liberia Broadcasting System, Darryl Ambrose Nmah, among others.
