Eight AFL officers earn BA Degrees in Military Science

(mylbsonline.com/Liberia/Sept. 27/ 2013)-Eight Liberian military officers have returned home after earning Bachelor Degrees in various disciplines and military specialties from the Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA).

According to a release, the soldiers, all members of the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL), returned home with the degrees after six years of studies at the NDA.

The officers are Lieutenant Archie Dolo, Georgian Kansuah, Alieu Kamara and George Siebo.

Others are Boima Sheriff, Stephen Kamara, Jerreck Dwanah and Varney Sirleaf.

The release said the training resulted from a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between the Liberia and Nigeria in 2007 for military relations in rebuilding a professional AFL.
