Service to Africa remains Nigerias foreign policy focus

( Ambassador to Liberia says service to Africa and the black race remains at the center of her country’s foreign policy.

Ambassador Chigozie Obi-Nnadozie said: “Nigeria will also continue to be a strong partner to the International Community.”

Madam Obi-Nnadozie made the statement during thanksgiving program organized by the Nigerian Embassy in Monrovia.

The thanksgiving program part of Nigeria’s 53rd National Independence Day celebration at the St. Kizito Catholic Church in Paynesville.

Nigerians across the world observe October 1, each year, as Africa’s powerful nation’s natal day.

The Nigerian Envoy expressed great delight to the Catholic Church for devoting a day to pray for her country.
The program was held at the St. Kizito Parish by the Nigerian Community in Liberia.

It was attended by several Nigerians, including senior citizens of the country.

The Nigerian Community President, Justin Ogogua said: “The program was intended to enable members of the community feel at home as they observe their National Day.”
