(mylbsonline.com/Liberia/Oct.22/2013) Chiefs of Liberia and La Cote D’Ivoire have signed a communiqué committing themselves to the sustenance of peace in border communities in both countries.

The communiqué was signed over the weekend in Zwedru City, Grand Gedeh County.

The document also identified several steps required to addressing factors impeding harmony for co-existence between the citizens of Liberia and their Ivorian counterparts.

The communiqué calls for the full adherence to measures, aimed at protecting the borders between the two West African neighboring.

Internal Affairs Minister, Morris Dukuly, read the communiqué on behalf of the chiefs at the end of a four-day conference on peace and reconciliation in Zwedru.
