Prez. Sirleaf congratulates Zambia on natal Day

(mylbsonline.com/Liberia/Oct.24/2013)  Liberian President, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, has sent a congratulatory message to the Government and people of Zambia on the 49th Independence anniversary of that nation.

According to a Foreign Ministry release, Zambia is celebrating its 49th Independence today (Thursday, October 24, 2013).

In her message to Zambian President, Michael Sata, President Johnson-Sirleaf extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Zambian Government and people as they celebrate such historic event.

The Liberian Leader recalled, with mutual respect, Zambia’s meaningful contributions in fostering global peace and security, especially through the United Nations (UN), cannot go unnoticed.

The President further expressed optimism that Zambia and Liberia will work together to explore new areas of bilateral cooperation for the mutual benefits of their respective peoples.

She also wished the Zambian President good health as he stairs the state of affairs.

President Johnson-Sirleaf noted: “As my government envisages a more cordial and renewed relationship with the Zambian Government, the Zambian people will continue enjoying peace, unity, and prosperity.
