Peoples views will enhance oil sector reform-Speaker Tyler

 (mylbsonline.com/Liberia/Nov.5/2013) The Speaker of the House of Representatives is assuring that views gathered at the ongoing National Public Consultations will help reform the Oil Sector.

The National Public Consultations are taking place on Liberia’s Draft Oil Law.

House Speaker, Alex Tyler,  is also encouraging the Liberian people to speak freely on the process, but reminded them to be civil.

The Bomi County Representative made the statement Monday, November 4, 2013 in Gbarnga City, Bong County when he officially launched the first phase of the public gathering.

The consultations are aimed at reforming the entire Oil Sector following the conclusion of the exercise.

He also welcomed criticisms by some Bong County university students over their alleged exclusion from the ongoing dialogue and promised to meet with them on the issue.

Speaker Tyler and delegation are in Voinjama City, Lofa County and will later proceed to Sanniquellie City, Nimba County to discuss the Draft Oil Law with the citizens of the two counties.
