( Nov.7/2013) Vice President, Joseph Boakai, has broken ground for the construction of a 300-thousand United States Dollar Library facility in Kakata, Margibi County.

VP Boakai said: “The Library will create reading and research opportunities for not just the people of Margibi County, but students and researchers from other parts of the county.”

The Library is being constructed by the Liberia Full Gospel Ministries Association in the United States.

The Vice President lauded architects of the project for envisaging Kakata as the place for the project.

He noted that Margibi County has contributed economically to the development of the country, making reference to the presence of Firestone-Liberia and the Roberts International Airport.

Margibi County Superintendent, John Buway and Representative Ben Fofana said: “We will lobby for funds to support the Library project.”
