The symbol of the law

MONROVIA, LIBERIA(Interm: Ebenezer Seigbeh Reports)- A two- day stakeholders meeting aimed at strengthening the rule of law is ongoing in Grand Cape Mount County.

The meeting, organized by the Defense for Children Liberia, seeks to strengthen justice and security for children in Liberia.

ELBC Grand Cape Mount County Correspondent, Mark Rogers said about twenty-seven stakeholders from diverse divisions of the justice system and the civil societies, are participating in the County.

The Participants include the Children Welfare Committee, Women and Children Protection officers, Magistrates, Judges and the County Gender Officer among others.

The objective of the gathering is to capacitate residents and key stakeholders within the justice system to alert State Security apparatus of action that threatens the security of children in Grand Cape Mount County.

Jos Garneo Cephas Sr. has a BSc in modern-day Development Studies, and AA-Degree in Journalism, Public Relations and Entrepreneurship and Founder and Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Liberia leading Social enterprise, Heartbeat Tourism for Sustainable Development(HTSD), Liberia Inc. He has numerous publications on opinions and developmental issues for leading Ghanaian and Liberian newspapers and magazines and online, and has provided national and international media consultancies, and is researching for a publication on “Tourism Its Impact and Youth Employment”.
