No More Overloading of Passengers on Transport Vehicles, Kehkehs, Motor Cycles ect. -MOT Regulations

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – The Transport Ministry in conjunction with the Liberia National Police has released following preventive measures for transport owners and passengers.

The measures, according to the Transport Ministry, are to curtail the spread of the coronavirus in Liberia.

In line with the measures, all motorcycle riders must wear protective mask and accommodate one passenger per ride and all tricycle riders should carry two passengers per ride.

According to a Transport Ministry release, issued Tuesday, March 17, 2020 in Monrovia, is part of the measures in which all commercial and non-commercial vehicles must carry one passenger in the front seat and three passengers in the back seat.

It also said buses must carry the required number of passengers per fixed seating to avoid overcrowding.
