Monrovia, Liberia – The Liberia National Police has vowed to take drastic action against individuals violating health protocols put in place by Government to contain the corona virus.
Deputy Police Inspector General for Operations, Marvin Sackor, said despite restriction on the number of passengers to be conveyed at a time, some commercial drivers, motor and Tricyclists still violating the regulation.
Speaking Thursday during a press briefing of the Incident Management Team in Congo Town, Col. Sackor emphasized that the Police will not hesitate to enforce the health protocols to the letter.
According to Col. Sackor, some restaurants are also violating the restriction aimed at preventing the spread of the corona virus.
He is at the same time cautioning the public against mass gatherings and holding of street protests, as violators will not go unpunished.
