MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberia has now recorded thirteen cases of the coronavirus and additional two deaths.
Speaking to ELBC Sunday, April 5, 2020, Health Minister Wilhelmina Jallah said:” Out of the thirteen cases three persons have died, and the three confirmed cases include a male and two females.”
The Liberian Health Minister said the three persons did not die at the health treatment center.
Meanwhile, the Director General of the National Public Health Institute of Liberia (NPHIL), Dr.Mosoka Fallah, has disclosed that there are two high risk zones in contacting the virus.
Dr.Fallah named the zones as health facilities and at home among close relatives.
He said the team is focusing on finding the epic-link of cases.
According to Dr. Fallah, epic-link is a case linked to a case, adding that most of the cases that are reported in the Country are epic-link.
