MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The President of the Liberia National Red Cross Society wants Liberians fight the coronavirus in compliance with the preventive measures put in place with health authorities.
Mr. Jerome Clarke said:” Adhering to the various pro-social measures put in place by the Government of Liberia and international health partners is not an option but a demand.”
Mr. Clarke said:” Any refusal to uphold the various health measures will not only be disastrous for the individual but the family, community and Liberia as a whole.”
Speaking in Monrovia Monday, April 6, 2020 at the launch of the Liberia National Red Cross Society COVID-19 Response Activities in Liberia, the Red Cross Boss called on Liberians to move from complacency to action.
Speaking earlier, the National Society Development Program Focal Person on COVID-19, Christopher Johnson, said the entity will place over thirty-five washing barrels at strategic areas in Monrovia.
