Monrovia, Liberia – Agriculture Minister, Jeannie Cooper, says the Ministry is focused on ensuring that farmers produce meet international standards
Minister Cooper said the Ministry is working along with farmers and agricultural processors to boost the production of rice, cassava and pepper among others.
The Agriculture Minister disclosed that Government and partners are committed to prioritizing local farmers across Liberia.
In an ELBC interview Friday, Minister Cooper said four hundred and ten thousand United States dollars loan scheme have been earmarked for nineteen agro-processors.
Minister Cooper said the loan is intended to empower agro-processors and local farmers increase their yields of local produce.
