MONROVIA. LIBERIA-The Monrovia City Court has sent to jail a twenty-seven year old woman for allegedly killing her brother from tussle over a bucket, early this June on the Duport Road in Paynesville City.
During police investigation into the death of Melvin Nathaniel on June 3rd this year, the deceased got home from work and met his sister Lois Deeman cooking, and attempted to waste a bucket of water but the accused quickly held the bucket to prevent him from wasting the water.
The situation did not go down well with the late Melvin who rained insults at his sister, thus bringing about bitter exchanges of words between the both of them, despite the intervention of a witness who later left the scene.
The bitter exchanges of words resurfaced with more insults hauled at defendant Lois, who followed her brother in the corridor and stabbed him in the left chest with a kitchen knife she had in her possession while cooking.
Community members present during the brawl had gone to rescue the victim but, but died while being carried to the hospital.
