Internal Affairs Ministry, partners begin Anti-COVID-19 Awareness Campaign

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Ministry of Internal Affairs and its partners have begun anti-COVID-19 Awareness campaign in ten zones across Montserrado County.

The campaign is aimed at empowering motorcyclists to change their minds and attitude, towards observing the preventive measures as they go about on a daily basis.

The institutions include the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the office of the National Peace Ambassador in collaboration with the Federation of Motorcyclists and Tricycles Union of Liberia (FROMTUL).

Speaking Tuesday, June 30, 2020, Deputy Minister for Research and Development Planning at the Ministry of Internal Affairs Olayee Collins, cautioned motorists against denial and urged them to always ensure that they and their passengers observe the preventive measures.

In remarks, the President of FROMTUL, John Kenyor, lauded the motorcyclists for the effort and cautioned them to avoid taking passengers without the wearing of mask.
