Liberia Media Center Executive Director dies

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Executive Director of the Liberia Media Center is dead.

Mr. Kpangbayazee Duoko died Thursday Morning, August 27, 2020, at the John F. Kennedy Medical Center, following a period of illness.

Speaking Thursday to ELBC, the Press Union of Liberia (PUL) President, Charles Coffey, described the fallen Liberian Journalist as a media development expert, who had immensely impacted the Liberian media.

Mr. Coffey said: “The death of Mr. Duoko has created a vacuum in the PUL, especially at the Liberia Media Center, where he was poised on reactivating the entity.”

Meanwhile, his body is expected to be deposited at the Samuel Stryker Funeral Home in Sinkor, Monrovia, pending his funeral.
