MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Elections and Inauguration has condemned the concept of voter trucking.
Representative Alex Grant said:” It is wrong to have people who hold allegiance to a particular constituency to attempt voting in different areas.”
The Grand Gedeh County Lawmaker, however, said he sees no problem, if aspirants or sitting lawmakers will assist their people who live in other parts of the Country to return home and vote.
Representative Grant argued that assisting people to vote in different parts of the Country, due to financial difficulties cannot be equated to voter trucking.
He spoke Thursday in an ELBC interview.
