MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The House of Representatives has ratified eight financing agreements pending concurrence by the Liberian Senate.
It followed reports from the joint Committee on Ways and Means and Judiciary on Wednesday, September 23, 2020.
The pacts are a financing agreement on the upgrading of the Konia to Voinjama Road project in the tune of twenty-million US Dollars, an eight-million financing agreement to Finance the River Gee Hydro Power and a financing agreement on Renewable Energy for Electrification in Liberia amounting to five-million dollars.
Others are a financing agreement for the Institutional Foundation to Improve Services in Health valued at fifty-four-million dollars, a financing agreement on Mano River Union Road finance contract between Liberia and the European Investment Bank.
Meanwhile, Plenary has also ratified the amended financing agreement on Tree Crops Extension Project costing nine-million dollars, including artic les of agreement for the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank.
