Pres. Weah calls on young people to unite against violence

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah is calling on young people to stand United against the act of violence in the Country.

President Weah said:” Government appreciates young people for voicing   out their disagreements, instead of resorting to violence.”

The Liberian Leader said:” Violent protests and increasing political tensions will only undermine the image   of the Country, and scare away investors.”

President Weah made the remarks Thursday, October 1, 2020, at an official program celebrating his 54th Birth Anniversary held at the Paynesville Town Hall.

The program was organized by the Movement for the re-election of Gbehkugbeh (MOREG), an affiliate of the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC).

Meanwhile, President Weah is urging striking health workers to serve humanity be returning to work, as Government makes effort to meet their demands.

At the same time, several superintendents across Liberia have extended congratulations to President George Weah on the occasion of his 54th Birth Anniversary.

They wished the President God‘s guidance   and warm felicitation, as he steers the affairs of the State.

The superintendents reflected the ongoing initiatives being carried out by President Weah, and expressed the hope that God will continue to protect him.

Meanwhile, several citizens have expressed gratitude to President George Weah, a s he celebrates another milestone in his life.
